Fresno State’s Women’s Entrepreneur Center earns excellence award

The U.S. Small Business Administration announced the Fresno State Women’s Entrepreneur Center as the recipient of the 2025 Women’s Business Center of Excellence for the 15-county San Joaquin Valley and Central Coast region.

Women’s Business Centers are a part of the administration’s national network of resource partners, which provide free one-on-one counseling, consulting, mentoring and training to entrepreneurs. Women’s Business Centers are located throughout the United States and their territories, funded in part by the administration, help women start and grow small businesses.

The center is one of four organizations serving female entrepreneurs in the 15-county San Joaquin Valley and Central Coast region. The administration presented the award to the Women’s Business Center Wednesday at the Resnick Student Union.
