The Lyles College of Engineering at Fresno State will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening and dedication of its new student center from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28, at Engineering East.
First envisioned in 2016, the project was developed in response to students’ need for space to study, collaborate and recharge before, between and after classes. The nearly 2,000-square-foot addition offers a welcoming, comfortable environment for collaboration and will also serve as the home of the new Leader in Residence Program, launching this fall.
