Science Carnivale presents fun science activities for K-12 students

The College of Science and Mathematics at Fresno State will present the 2026 Science Carnivale from noon to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 28 in the Science II building courtyard. The carnival will feature over 20 science demonstrations and interactive activities for K-12 students and their families.

The mission of the Science Carnivale is to show young students that science is fascinating, fun and open to all. Through engaging hands-on activities, students will learn about scientific concepts and methods, accessible and affordable paths to study science at Fresno State, and career opportunities in science and science-related fields.

Presentations at the carnival will include physical science, disease and germ spread, oceanography, botany, neuroscience, biotechnology, classic computers, microscopes, psychology, math and more, plus astronomy shows at the Downing Planetarium. Representatives from Fresno State recruiting will also present on opportunities to study science at Fresno State and the Bulldog Bound guaranteed admissions program.
