Spring 2026 admissions open in August

Fresno State’s spring admissions period will be open Aug. 1 through 31, allowing undergraduate transfer students from community colleges, returning undergraduate students and post-baccalaureate students to apply to start classes at Fresno State in spring 2026.

“Fresno State continues to be a leader in the CSU and nationally recognized university that is accessible to students from all walks of life,” said Martina Granados, interim associate vice president for strategic enrollment management at Fresno State. “Our dedicated recruitment team is ready to assist and guide our prospective students through every step of the application process and with any questions they may have.”

Undergraduate transfer and returning students

Fresno State is committed to serving the San Joaquin Valley and prioritizes local applicants. Non-local applicants will need to meet a higher admission GPA for programs that are impacted. For all other programs, students must meet the minimum CSU admission requirements.

Both lower-division and upper-division transfer students must meet their transfer requirements by the end of summer 2025. No courses taken in the fall will be considered to satisfy admissions requirements for spring 2026.
