Annual ‘Walk in Peace’ concert celebrates Black History Month and MLK

The Fresno State School of Music presents the annual “Walk in Peace: A Celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Black History Month” concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, at the Fresno State Music Building Concert Hall. Tickets are free for Fresno State students and $5 for general admission. Parking on campus is free after 4 p.m. on Fridays. A community favorite for creating an atmosphere of reflection and hope, “Walk in Peace” brings together the Fresno State and Fresno City College choir ensembles with a combined choir of about 150 students. Community members and students perform readings from great Americans between songs to highlight the pieces performed throughout the evening.
