Richter Center hosts blood drive with Donors Have Heart theme

“Donors Have Heart!” is the theme of February’s on-campus blood drive hosted by the Jan and Bud Richter Center for Community Engagement and Service-Learning and Central California Blood Center. 

The three-day drive will take place from Tuesday, Feb. 10, to Thursday, Feb. 12, in the Resnick Student Union, Room 107. 

Blood drive hours are scheduled as follows:

  • 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10
  • 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11
  • 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12

Donors will receive special thank-you gifts for their contributions, including an exclusive commemorative sticker and a voucher for a free drink redeemable at the Dutch Bros truck parked at the Memorial Gardens. 

To participate, donors must be in good general health, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be at least 18 years old. Donors are encouraged to bring photo identification, stay hydrated and eat a healthy meal prior to their appointment.

Donations take approximately an hour and include registration, a brief medical screening, a 15-minute blood collection, and time for refreshments.

Interested donors can sign up in advance by visiting the sign up link. Walk-ins are also welcome.
