Richter Center hosts annual Community Service Opportunities Fair

The Jan and Bud Richter Center for Community Engagement and Service-Learning will host its 24th annual “Community Service Opportunities Fair” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, at the Ruiz Ballroom of the Resnick Student Union. This event brings together a variety of nonprofits and community benefit organizations to showcase their volunteer, internship and job opportunities.

Attendees can meet directly with representatives from these organizations and learn how they can make a meaningful difference in the Central Valley. The event is free and open to the general public and Fresno State students, staff and faculty.

With over 50 organizations in attendance, attendees can find those that meet their needs and interests. Previous organizations in attendance include the SPCA, UCSF Fresno, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Hind’s Hospice and Sierra Foothill Conservatory. Attendees can also enter our giveaway to win a Starbucks gift card and coffee.

For more information, contact Trisha Studt, community partnerships coordinator for the Richter Center, at 559.278.7079 or tstudt@mail.fresnostate.edu.
