Bulldog Bound launches transfer partnership with Porterville College

Fresno State and Porterville College will celebrate the launch of their Bulldog Bound Transfer Guarantee Program partnership from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, at Porterville College.

The partnership is part of Fresno State’s expansion of Bulldog Bound Guaranteed Admissions Program to community colleges across the region, providing participating students with a streamlined pathway to Fresno State and resources to help them prepare for transfer.

During the Sept. 3 event, Porterville College students can learn about Bulldog Bound, register for the program and connect directly with Fresno State admissions and transfer representatives. Students will also have access to advising and transfer planning resources.

The event will begin with remarks from Porterville College President Primavera Monarrez, who will discuss the partnership and the college’s commitment to transfer success. Martina Granados, Fresno State’s associate vice president for Strategic Enrollment Management, will share information about Bulldog Bound benefits and opportunities.

A transfer fair will follow, giving students an opportunity to meet with Fresno State representatives, receive advising, register for Bulldog Bound and take photos with Victor E. Bulldog.

Porterville College is one of 12 community colleges partnering with Fresno State through the Bulldog Bound Transfer Guarantee Program, which expanded in spring 2026 to create additional pathways for transfer students throughout the region.
