Fresno State’s Mobile Health Unit program is back on the road for the fall 2026 semester, offering free healthcare services to residents throughout the San Joaquin Valley. Services include diabetes and blood pressure screenings, health and wellness assessments, referrals and flu vaccinations at most locations.
Coordinated by the School of Nursing, the program provides nursing students with hands-on clinical experience while expanding healthcare access in local communities. Students provide services under the supervision of nursing faculty.
In 2024, Fresno State unveiled two new mobile health vehicles, each equipped with advanced technology designed to enhance patient care and provide additional learning opportunities for nursing students.
New and returning stops this fall include:
- Kings County Community Wellness Resource Event — Sept. 24 in Corcoran.
- Malaga Fiesta Day — Sept. 26 in Fresno.
- Salt + Light Cultivating Community — select Thursdays in Visalia.
- Cherry Avenue Auction — select Tuesdays in Fresno.
- Fresno Flea Market — select Sundays in Fresno.
