New KVPR partnership brings ‘The Maddy Report’ to radio, podcast audiences

The Maddy Institute is pleased to announce a new partnership with KVPR to expand “The Maddy Report” to radio and podcast audiences across the Central Valley.

Through this partnership, the institute’s radio and podcast program – previously known as “The Maddy Report: Valley Views” – will rebrand as “The Maddy Report,” creating a unified platform across television, radio and podcast. The program will continue to feature conversations with policymakers, community leaders and professionals from a wide range of fields to share their expertise and insights on the issues impacting Valley communities.

The television edition of “The Maddy Report” will continue to air on ABC30, while the new partnership with KVPR expands the program’s reach to audiences who prefer listening by radio or podcast.

The pilot episode of “The Maddy Report” on KVPR will air at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 16

“We are excited to bring ‘The Maddy Report’ to even more listeners across the Central Valley through KVPR,” said Blake Zante, executive director of The Maddy Institute and host of “The Maddy Report.” “For more than two decades, our program has provided meaningful conversations on the issues shaping our region. By bringing together our television, radio and podcast programming under one trusted name, we are making it easier for community members to access important discussions on Valley issues.”

KVPR has long provided listeners with trusted, nonpartisan news and programming that informs communities across the region. Together, The Maddy Institute and KVPR will provide listeners with thoughtful conversations that inform, educate and connect Valley communities.

“Both KVPR and The Maddy Institute work every day to create a more informed public in the Central Valley region. We think this is a natural fit between our organizations, and is driven by our shared non-partisan, public-service missions,” said Joe Moore, general manager of KVPR. “We’re excited to bring ‘The Maddy Report’ to our airwaves, stretching from Kern to Merced counties.”

Listeners can expect insightful conversations that provide trusted information on local and state issues, continuing The Maddy Institute’s mission of inspiring public leadership through informed civic engagement.
