Central Valley agricultural business leaders will share their stories of succession, sustainability, entrepreneurship and the evolving role of women at the helm of America’s family farms and agribusinesses from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, at the Alice Peters Auditorium in the University Business Center at Fresno State.
Speakers include:
- Amber Balakian, Balakian Farms co-owner.
- Linda Smittcamp, Peach Tree Fruit Stand co-partner and operator.
- Blair Smittcamp-Martin, Wawona Frozen Foods marketing and special projects manager.
- Marsha Vucovich, Fresno Equipment Company president and CEO.

The event is organized by Fresno State’s Ag One Foundation and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Craig School of Business and the Fresno State Office of Planned Giving to mark the 2026 United Nations International Year of the Woman Farmer celebration.
