Fresno State will host its final blood drive of the 2025–26 academic year from April 14 through 16, offering faculty, staff and students an opportunity to support the community through blood donation.
The drive will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day at the Fresno State Library (Room 2206), and at the mobile unit stationed in the Memorial Gardens.
Organized by the Jan and Bud Richter Center for Community Engagement and Service-Learning, and coordinated by staff and student leaders, the event aims to support local hospitals and encourage campus-wide participation. Faculty and staff are invited not only to donate but also to help promote the drive within their departments.
To donate blood, participants should eat a nutritious meal beforehand, stay well hydrated and bring a valid photo ID. Donors must be at least 16 years old (with parent consent for minors) and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds.
As a token of appreciation, donors will receive a complimentary Dutch Bros drink and an exclusive sticker. Participants will also have the opportunity to enter a raffle featuring a variety of items, including Squishmallows, candles, reusable cups, snacks and more.
Appointments are recommended to help reduce wait times, though walk-ins will be accommodated as space allows.
