The Department of Kinesiology at Fresno State will host the Human Optimization and Performance Enhancement Panel featuring three world-renowned sport performance coaches from 6 – 8 p.m., Monday, Feb. 23, at Fresno State’s Student Recreation Center (Peters Auditorium). Participants will gain insight from each of the coaches who’ve worked in the NBA, NFL, MLB, UFC, English Premier League, Olympics and within Fortune 100 companies.
The panelists include: Ron Adams, assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors and former Fresno State men’s basketball coach; Tareq Azim, former Fresno State football player and founder of the Empower Performance Institute, which provides coaching and advising to NFL and UFC athletes; and Vern Gambetta, also a former Fresno State football player and founder of the Gambetta Athletic Improvement Network, a collaborative network of performance coaches who share expertise in athletic development.
