Following our earlier statement regarding a video circulating online that appears to capture a Fresno State lecturer making a deeply offensive comment about the death of Charlie Kirk, we want to share an update.
The lecturer has been placed on leave effective immediately while we investigate this incident.
Fresno State condemns, in the strongest possible terms, any language that celebrates or condones violence. Such remarks are antithetical to our values at Fresno State.

Fresno State is aware of a video circulating online that appears to record a lecturer making a disturbing comment about the death of Charlie Kirk. The university has launched an immediate investigation into this incident. We condemn, in the strongest possible terms, any language that celebrates or condones violence. Such remarks are antithetical to our values at Fresno State.
