Fresno State to commemorate anniversary of Armenian genocide

Two events commemorating the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide will take place on Thursday, April 24 at the Armenian Genocide Monument on the Maple Mall at Fresno State. The “Generation Justice” student event is at 11:30 a.m. and includes a silent march, laying of the flowers, guest speakers and Armenian music. 

The 2025 Armenian Genocide Commemoration community program begins at 6:30 p.m. with the laying of the flowers, followed by a 7 p.m. program.  Organized and presented by the Armenian Genocide Commemorative Committee of Fresno, Dr. Mary Papazian will deliver the keynote address.
