Fresno State brings ‘that Bulldog pride’ to homecoming week

Fresno State is proud to invite students, faculty, staff, alumni and the Central Valley community to a week of spirited celebration during homecoming week, from Oct. 20 through 25

This year’s theme of Can’t Hide that Bulldog Pride” includes a week’s worth of inclusive and engaging activities, some of which are free and open to all students, staff and community members. 

Homecoming events include:

Monday, Oct. 20

Fired Up by the Fountain – Homecoming Kickoff
Kick off the week with giveaways, live performances and entertainment that will keep the Bulldog spirit alive. Students can also “bless the ball” before Fresno State’s homecoming football game.
Time: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Venue: Memorial Gardens (lawn in front of Kennel Bookstore)
Audience: Fresno State students, faculty and staff
Price: Free

Homecoming 2025 Pawrade
The Pawrade is a high-energy celebration of university pride, featuring departments and student organizations showing off their creativity in style. From decked-out golf carts to spirited walking groups, participants will parade through campus in a showcase of color, energy, and school spirit.
Time: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Venue: Starts at Maple Mall and ends in front of the Kennel Bookstore
Audience: Fresno State students, staff and faculty
Price: Free

Yoga Under the Stars
Join the Fresno State Recreation Center for a free yoga class under the stars. Reset, relax and recharge by starting the week off with evening yoga.
Time: 7 to 8 p.m.
Venue: Resnick Student Union Event Plaza

Tuesday, Oct. 21

Paint the Path
In what organizers hope will become a new tradition, attendees can help paint the path with Fresno State pride and create a spirited walk through the heart of campus for homecoming week. All supplies provided.
Time: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Venue: Memorial Gardens (lawn in front of Kennel Bookstore)
Audience: Exclusively for Fresno State students, staff and faculty
Price: Free

Tie Dye and Good Vibes
Design your own homecoming tie-dye shirt –  All supplies provided.
Time: 3 to 5 p.m.
Venue: Fresno State Student Housing (outside of Graves Hall)
Audience: Fresno State students

Wednesday Oct. 22

Build-A-Bulldog
Create your own Bulldog — stuff, decorate and take home a cuddly Fresno State spirit plushie, while supplies last.
Time: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Venue: Memorial Gardens (lawn in front of Kennel Bookstore)
Audience: Fresno State students
Price: Free

Live Band Karaoke
An evening of karaoke with a twist – the participant becomes the lead singer for a live band and chooses which song to perform. Time: 7 to 10 p.m.
Venue: Resnick Student Union Event Plaza

Thursday Oct. 23

Red Wave Recharge
Relax, recharge and play your way to wellness with the amazing wellness race, intuition bracelets, puppy cuddles and more.   Time: 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Venue: Memorial Gardens (lawn in front of the Kennel Bookstore)
Audience: Fresno State students
Price: Free

HYPE – Noah Sonie
A hypnotist, magician and mentalist, Noah Sonie is showing up and out with his captivating show, free to all students. Students are invited to watch and participate in an engaging and exciting show featuring.

Fresno State Volleyball Game
Fresno State women’s volleyball hosts New Mexico.
Time: 7 p.m.

Top Dog Alumni Awards
The Top Dog Alumni Awards is a proud Fresno State tradition that recognizes a select group of Fresno State alumni who have made significant contributions to their community, and whose accomplishments, affiliations and careers have enriched the legacy of excellence at Fresno State.
Time: 6 p.m. cocktails and hors d’oeuvres; 7 p.m. awards ceremony (desserts and cocktails to follow)

Friday Oct. 24

Red Friday
A faculty and staff will show off their Bulldog Spirit for an exciting homecoming Red Friday. Guests who include a pop of pink with their Bulldog attire in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month will get an extra raffle ticket. Festivities include: Victor E. Bulldog IV, The Bulldog Beat band, games, raffles, refreshments, music and lots of prizes (must be present to win). Homecoming decorating contest winners will be announced.

Charging Up That Bulldog Spirit

The public is invited to a homecoming celebration atCrow & Wolf on the eve of the big game. Enjoy exclusive craft brews, food trucks, live music and plenty of Fresno State prideMake sure to wear Fresno State gear and show off your Bulldog spirit. Plus, don’t miss a special appearance by Victor E. Bulldog IV, the Fresno State Alumni Band and check out exclusive Bulldog swag at the Kennel Marketplace pop-up shop. Homecoming Student Tailgate
The official student tailgate hosted by Associated Students, Inc. will feature music, food, games and giveaways.

Homecoming Football Game
Join the Red Wave to cheer on the Bulldogs as they take on longtime rival San Diego State and debut their new black uniforms with a vintage twist. The Bulldogs will induct for standout quarterback and coach Jeff Tedford into the Ring of Honor.

Venue: Valley Children’s Stadium
